The short answer

TruckerDB is a daily service with a dashboard and email-sending tools, from $49 a month. Rasengan Data is one weekly spreadsheet of brand-new carriers, with an insurance-filing column, for $29 a month. If you want daily drops and built-in cold email, TruckerDB does more. If you want a cheaper weekly file you load into your own CRM or dialer, ours may fit better.

What TruckerDB does that we don't

  • Daily updates. New leads every morning at 8 AM. Ours come once a week, on Monday.
  • A dashboard. You work leads in its web app. We send a CSV and JSON file.
  • Email tools. A $499 plan with inboxes, sending and warmup, plus free email-setup checkers. We have none.
  • Renewal leads. Pro adds established carriers coming up for insurance renewal. We list new carriers only.

What we do differently

  • Weekly, new carriers only. Each Monday we check the last 21 days of FMCSA registrations and send only carriers that were not in an earlier file, so each carrier reaches you once. The file for the week ending 2026-10-25 had 3,970 new carriers.
  • Phone and email in every file. All 3,970 rows had a phone and 3,962 had an email, as each carrier filed them with FMCSA.
  • Insurance-filing column. Insurance On File, Authority Status and MC Number on every row: 1,718 carriers had no insurance filing on file with FMCSA yet and 305 had one.
  • $29 a month for every state, one plan.
  • First week free. Card at checkout, $0 today; $29 is charged on day 8 unless you cancel.

Questions

Is Rasengan Data cheaper than TruckerDB?

Yes, on list price. Our file is $29 a month for every state. TruckerDB's Starter plan is $49 a month and Pro is $99 (prices checked on its website on 2026-10-27). TruckerDB updates daily and has a dashboard; ours is a weekly spreadsheet.

TruckerDB. Its $499 plan includes 50 email inboxes, 50,000 monthly sends, warmup and a campaign dashboard, and it offers free MX and SPF/DKIM/DMARC checkers. We sell only the data file. Our emails are as each carrier filed them with FMCSA.
