About Rasengan Data

Who we are

Rasengan Data is a small data company in Connecticut. We take public business registries, the kind government agencies publish for anyone to read, and turn them into clean files that sales teams can open in Excel or Google Sheets.

Rasengan Data is the trading name of Rasengan LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company founded in 2026.

What we sell

Data files, sold by monthly subscription through Stripe. Each file lists businesses that have just appeared in a public registry: new trucking companies, newly licensed contractors, new sales tax permit holders and similar. Most files are refreshed every week at the same download link, with a plain-English guide to every column.

Our buyers are businesses that sell to new companies: insurance agents, factoring companies, equipment and software suppliers, bookkeepers. A few one-time files and custom data pulls are listed on the products page as well.

Where the data comes from

Every row comes from a public record. The main sources are:

• FMCSA Motor Carrier Census, published by the US Department of Transportation: new USDOT carrier registrations.
• California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) public license data: new California contractors, bond and workers' comp changes.
• Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, via the Texas open data portal: new sales tax permits.
• Also: Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation license files, the Florida DBPR licensee file, City of Austin open data and SEC EDGAR filings.

We download these records, put them in consistent columns and label them in plain words. We do not add data from consumer lists. Rasengan LLC is a private company. We are not affiliated with FMCSA, CSLB, the Texas Comptroller or any other government agency, and our files are not official records.

How we handle the data

• Public business records only. We publish what businesses filed with a public registry, and nothing about private individuals beyond what that business filing contains.
• As filed. Phones, emails and addresses are as each business filed them. The agencies do not check them, and we cannot promise they are current.
• Buyers follow the rules. Anyone who buys a file must follow TCPA, CAN-SPAM and state telemarketing law when they call, text or email. See our terms.
• Opting out. To stop email from us, use rasengan.win/unsubscribe. For any other question about a record or your data, email us; our privacy policy explains your rights.
