Rasengan · public-record data, cleaned

New contractor licenses in California: every contractor the CSLB licensed in the last 30 days, in one spreadsheet.

Pulled from the Contractors State License Board's official file, which the state refreshes weekly, and cut to the licenses issued in the last 30 days: business name, license number, classification, city, county, ZIP, phone where the licensee listed one, issue and expiry dates, status, and bond and workers' comp fields.

What you get

  • About 1,600 new licensees a month statewide (1,591 in the current file, licensed 2026-09-23 to 2026-10-19; 1,586 with a phone number; all in good standing on the day of the pull).
  • One spreadsheet (opens in Excel or Google Sheets), sorted newest first, with license classes spelled out in plain words, plus a short guide to every column.
  • Instant download the moment your payment clears.
  • A fresh 30-day file every week (rebuilt Mondays), $29 a month; the same download link always serves the newest one.

Phone numbers are masked here only; the file has them in full, exactly as published by the state, plus license number, street address, ZIP, expiry date, bond company and amount, and a link to each CSLB record.

Who uses it

  • Surety bond agents: every new license carries a $25,000 contractor bond, and each row names the surety on file.
  • Workers' comp and contractor insurance agents: about three in four new licensees report no employees yet. They need general liability now and a workers' comp policy the day they hire.
  • Building-supply credit desks: open trade accounts with new electrical, plumbing, HVAC and general building contractors before they pick a supplier.
  • Lead resellers and contractor-marketing agencies: new contractor leads in California, dated and sorted by county and trade.
