New DOT leads: TruckerDB vs DOTnow vs NativeBase vs Rasengan Data (2026 prices)

Here are eight services that sell lists of brand-new trucking companies: what each one costs, what you get and how it reaches you, side by side. We sell one of them, so we stuck to what each company publishes on its own website.

The short answer

Every service here starts from the same public FMCSA records. They differ in price, speed and tools.

  • Lowest paid price for every state: Rasengan Data, $29 a month for one weekly CSV, first week free.
  • Fastest: the daily services. TruckerDB ($49), Carrier Hunt ($49) and NativeBase ($99 per user) update every day. DOTnow (from $59.99) says new carriers show up within hours.
  • Most tools: NativeBase adds insurance filing status, watch lists and ACORD forms. DOTnow adds 1-click calling and renewal date estimates. TruckerDB Pro adds renewal leads.

What we do not have: no dashboard, no dialer and no daily updates. You get one plain spreadsheet each week, with a phone and an email on every row. Insurance filing status: Yes: insurance on file / no filing yet, checked against FMCSA's daily insurance file. See five real rows from the latest file.

Side by side

Rival details come from each company's own website; prices checked 2026-10-25. Words in quotes are theirs. "not stated" means we could not find it on their public pages.

* PollyAI's pricing page says its state bundle includes "contact info" but does not say which kinds. We could not open their own price pages today, so they are not in this table.

Not every list counts the same thing

A new USDOT number is the first step a trucking company takes. Operating authority, the MC number, comes later, and mainly interstate for-hire carriers need one. We, NativeBase, TruckerDB and Carrier Hunt list new USDOT numbers. CarrierMatics lists newly authorized carriers.

New USDOT lists also include businesses that run trucks for their own goods, not for hire. In our Oct 12-Nov 1 file, 2,167 of the 2,972 carriers were for-hire. The Operating Type column lets you filter out the rest.

Which one fits you

Truck insurance agent, one or two states

You want to be the first call. New Trucking Companies sends a daily email for one state at $39. PollyAI charges $79 for one state. DOTnow (from $59.99) is built for phone work. Our file fits if you call in one block each week and want every state for $29.

Insurance agency with several producers

You want coverage status and renewals, not just new names. NativeBase shows whether a carrier has insurance on file, at $99 per user. TruckerDB Pro ($99) adds renewal leads. CarrierMatics sells cancellation lists from $149.

Factoring sales rep

New carriers pick a factor in their first weeks of hauling. You want a long list across many states at a low cost. Our file covers every state for $29 a month, with a phone and an email on every row. Sort by Trucks and keep the for-hire rows.

ELD, fuel-card or dash-cam seller

Every new fleet needs these in its first month, so a few days matter less. A weekly file for all states is enough. Load the CSV into the CRM or dialer you already use.

Cold email team

TruckerDB is built around email: owner emails at $49, and a $499 plan with 50 inboxes and sending. Our file has an email on every row, as filed, if you already have a sending tool.

Just testing the market

Carrier Hunt's free plan shows 5 full leads a day. TruckerDB and CarrierMatics give free samples. Our first week is free with a card; we charge $29 on day 8 unless you cancel.

Questions

What are new DOT leads?

New DOT leads are trucking companies that just got a USDOT number. Most of them still need insurance, a factoring company, an ELD and fuel cards. That makes their first weeks the best time to call.

Which new DOT leads service costs the least?

In our table, Rasengan Data has the lowest paid price for every state: $29 a month for a weekly file, with the first week free (card required; $29 is charged on day 8 unless you cancel). Carrier Hunt has a free plan that shows 5 full leads a day. New Trucking Companies starts at $39 a month for one state. We checked these prices on 2026-10-25.

Is a weekly list fast enough?

It depends on how you sell. Daily services such as TruckerDB, NativeBase and Carrier Hunt show a new carrier within about a day, and DOTnow says within hours. Our file comes once a week, so a row can be a few days to 3 weeks old when you get it: each Monday we recheck 3 weeks of registrations so carriers FMCSA lists late are not missed, and each carrier appears in one file only. If you race other agents for the first call, pick a daily service. If you call or email in one block each week, a weekly file does the job for less.

How does the Rasengan Data free week work?

You check out with a card through Stripe. You pay nothing for the first 7 days, and you can download the newest file right away. Cancel before the 7 days end and you are not charged. If you stay, your card is charged $29 on day 8, then $29 a month. Cancel any time by emailing [email protected] from your checkout address. Or cancel yourself in two clicks at your billing page (sign in with the email you used at checkout).

Where does the data come from, and can I call these numbers?

Every row comes from the FMCSA Motor Carrier Census, a public federal record. Phones and emails are as each carrier filed them; FMCSA does not check them. You must follow TCPA, CAN-SPAM and state telemarketing rules when you call, text or email. Rasengan Data is run by Rasengan LLC, a private company. We are not affiliated with FMCSA or any government agency.
