What this means

The licence is suspended because the contractor's bond was cancelled and no replacement bond is on file. A suspended licence cannot be used to contract for work until CSLB lifts the suspension.
It expires in 85 days (Jan 31, 2027). California licences renew every two years; work done after expiry without renewal is unlicensed.
Contractor's bond: $25,000 with Western Surety Company. The bond is there to pay consumers and workers harmed by licence-law violations; it is not liability insurance and it does not guarantee the work. The bond on file shows a cancellation date of Mar 8, 2023.
Workers' comp: exempt. The contractor has told CSLB it has no employees. If a crew shows up on your job, ask for a current workers' comp certificate; a contractor with employees must carry workers' comp.

Watch this licence: $9/month. We email you when CSLB's file shows a change to this licence's status, bond, workers' comp or expiry. Checked every Monday and Thursday. Cancel any time.
